Bayside was established in 1997 and although it is a relatively new agency, it has gained respect within the industry in a very short space of time.
The current owner, Kellie Langmaid (mum of two) took over ownership mid 2005 and has taken the agency to great heights and success. Kellie has been involved in the media industry for many years working for Channel 7, Sunrise Mothers Group, Pacific Magazines and as a model, thus giving her great knowledge and insight into what clients look for. The agency is young, dynamic and has a fresh approach to the industry, making it unique from other agencies.
Kellie runs the agency with a high level of customer service, dedication and professionalism. She has a genuine love of the industry; coupled with her love for kids she finds great joy in gaining her talent work within the entertainment industry. Kellie is leading contributor to the community as she has been President of the local kindergarten having kindergarten and school aged children. Our staff are parents therefore we understand our challenges and joys!
The agency receives bookings for ages newborn through to 80 (but most predominantly newborn – 18) for photographic work, films, TV commercials, TV series, cat walk, musical theatre, and other industry assignments.
Our talent have been involved in various catalogues including Myer, Target, Cottees, Coles, Australand, Godfrey Hirst, Australia Post, Chain Reaction, Minihaha, Oobi, Rock Your Baby, Cheeky Little Soles, Books to Wear, Gumboots, Adidas, Carpet Court, Minimates, Designer Kidz, Lincraft, Sports Power and Toy World.
They have also been involved in extensive TV commercials, series and film including SPC, Yellow Pages, Coles, Kleenex, Maggi, Water Savers, Bulla Frozen Yogurt, HBA, Holden Zafira, Huggies, Kath & Kim, Underbelly, Blue Heelers, Saddle Club and loads more!

Are you a reputable agency?

Can you guarantee work for your talent?
No, we cannot guarantee work as the final decision, for any job, is made by the client. However we will do our best in promoting our talent to the industry. As a rule, we only take on people who we feel we can obtain work because if they do not get paid work neither does the agency.
Where are you based?
Our office is based across the road from Chelsea train station (on the Frankston Line) at 334 – 339 Station Street, Chelsea but please be aware our location should not be a huge consideration other than your interview as work can be anywhere in the metro area and mostly usually in the central Melbourne suburbs.
How do you promote your talent?
Talent will have a portfolio profile on our secure website. It is only accessible to by login and password. Clients can use this to view and book talent. We also use the Internet and telephone to promote our talent. Bayside has an excellent reputation and we work hard to ensure extensive client relationships so each of our talent can be given maximum opportunities for work.
What are the costs involved?
The total cost per year is $352 (incl. GST)per talent (any age) and covers the cost of the professional photography and website - which is safe and secure. This is a 12 month contract exclusive to our agency. A client can view your talent profile for you or your child/children via our website for a job with their own secure client access passwords.
What commission do you take?
We take a 20% commission for photographic work and TV commercials, and 10% for film, TV series and dramas.
